On a peaceful cabin yard on a peninsula, seen from a still, high perspective, the strong wind stirs unrest in a 6-minute drama filmed in a single take.
Out of the cabin rushes first one person, then another, neither quite sure what to do. It turns into a cat-and-mouse game between the two — a game that has built up over time because something has been brewing between them.
They move quickly, as fast as they can, yet everything feels slow. Gravity surprises. Resistance is stronger, strength is weaker, the ground more slippery, legs softer than from the living-room perspective.
In the end, the uphill gains the upper hand, the body refuses to obey, and the great “Aaahhhrg!” becomes what we expect — a small whimper.
